Having a Child Equals Dealing with Mess

May 25th, 2010

I used to be a very neat person.  My closet used to be color coordinate (note: the word is used), kitchen spices were categorized by brand and all stacked together front facing using 3-tier cabinet organizer (actually this one is still valid since I’m the only one who cook).  I’m like a kid in a candy store when visiting the Container Store.  Everything has its own place.  I still consider myself as a neat and claustrophobic person, though I feel like I’m much laid back now after being a mom.  Everyday there are always toys laying on weird places like this one:

a set of choo choo train lego on kitchen floor

A broken tonka track sitting on a kitchen cabinet

And occasionally I would see something like this:

pants left by hubby on the kitchen chair

So how do I deal with this mess with my claustrophobic issue? Just pick up the mess and live with it. There are so much more important things in live than worrying about little things like this.

PS: The weird thing is although I’m a neat person, my car is a total mess!
