Everybody around the world celebrates Mother’s Day. In Indonesia, Mother’s Day always falls in the same day, which is December 22. In the US Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May (May 8), whereas in UK, it’s the fourth Sunday of Lent (April 3). For those of you in UK, it’s not too late to think what you should give or do to your mothers, grandmothers and mothers in law. Here are some ideas:
Have a family Sunday Brunch
Take your wife, mother and mother-in-law for a nice brunch at a family restaurant. This way you get to celebrate it with everybody all in one. They get to see their grandchildren and your wife will be happy since she doesn’t have to cook on Sunday.
Breakfast in Bed
If your mother or mother in law don’t live nearby, you can just celebrate it with your wife by pampering her for one whole day. Fix breakfast in bed and do all the household chores for that day. Trust me, your wife will appreciate it!
Say it with flower
You can never go wrong with flower. Remember the old saying, when a woman tells you she doesn’t like flower or doesn’t expect you to give her one, it actually means you’d better send her a bouquet of flower!! Everybody knows that! Marks and Spencer is having a promotion of
Marks & Spencer Mother’s Day Flowers
free delivery on Mother’s Day. They have a wide selection of beautiful indoor/outdoor plant and bouquets of flowers.
Mothers Day is not just a marketing ploy. It’s a reminder of how tough our job is as a mother, and that sometimes….just a tiny bit of appreciation from our husbands and children will make our day.
Happy Mum’s Day!!
