My Awww Parenting Moment

In the midst of this parenting shenanigans, from yelling to our kids to cleaning their mess or acts, we all get this awww moments from something they had said or done.

I found this little English tudor style tea house that offers high tea.  If you’re not familiar with high tea, It’s basically a tea party for adults.  They offers English style teapot along with its accompaniment,  such as English style sandwiches and savories in a three-tiered serving dish.  I stopped by at that tea house to grab a to go menu and saw a group of older ladies wearing hats and having tea party.  I thought that was si adorable.  So I asked my husband if he can accompany me to have a tea party.

His answered (as I predicted), “Hell, no!!  Go with your girlfriends!”

My 6 yr old boy said to me, “I’ll go to your tea party, mommy.  Will there be any boys?”

Well, I don’t care what you think, but that was the sweetest thing anybody ever said to me.  Now whether I’m going to actually have him as my tea party date, that decision is still up in the air.   Right now, I just want to enjoy my “Awww Parenting Moment”.

Parenting is definitely one of the hardest things I ever do, but these tiny little moments just washed away my frustration.
