Today my husband, son and I went to Ultrasona to get 3D/4D ultrasound and to find out the sex of our baby. Ultrasona is located in Polaris area right off Old State in Columbus, OH. This would be the second time we visited this place. Everything was still the same as it was four years ago when I was pregnant with my son. The staffs are still very friendly and professional, the facility is very clean, and the waiting room is fully equipped with TV and toys for the kids to entertain themselves. The only difference now is that we had to wait for about a month to get our appointment as opposed to 4 years ago when we got ours in less than two weeks. Maybe 3D/4D ultrasound is getting more popular these days, or perhaps there are a lot more pregnant women in Spring? I don’t know. Anyway, I love the place. The price is pretty reasonable too. For $85 we got 15 minutes 3D/4D sessions, 5 black and white pictures (I actually got about 12), gender determination, level 1 measurement in which they measure the size of the baby and calculate how big the baby is going to be. There are a lot more options to choose from including getting the DVD and CD images.
As expected, this baby is going to be huge again. Based on the calculation, my baby will be a week early from the due date due to the size. I always produce ginormous baby. My son was born 8.3 lbs and he was 2.5 weeks early. I’m actually blaming it on me since I was born almost 10 lbs!
And the baby is…… Another boy!!
I have to admin, I was quite disappointed when I found out we’re having another boy. Deep down I kinda knew I’m having a boy, but still threw a slight hope that it was going to be a girl. It was quite a mix feeling. Disappointed, but happy looking at that cute little face. The baby looked normal, got a lot of hair for that age, moved a lot during the session. When we got home, my husband said half joking half serious, “I’m so happy we’re having another boy. Had it been a girl and just thinking of boys coming over here and dating her, it’s stressing me out already. Not mentioning we don’t have to worry about a daughter being pregnant”. His comment helps me a little bit, but I was still kinda sad, until I accidentally watched Teen Mom on MTV tonight. I guess it’s kind of a relief that I don’t have to deal with mood swing, boys issue and the whole commotion.
On a brighter side….all the money that I was going to spend prettying up a little girl will now go to moi! I will be the prettiest one in the house! What’s not to love? Having two precious boys is not so bad after all!!
